Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry

Black Cherry w/ flash (Check out those thumbprints! yuck! :p)

Revlon Black Cherry is one of my favorite fall color shades. It is a very sophisticated dark wine burgundy w/ a hint of brown and plum undertones. This can be easily used in the daytime as a stain or brushed on the lips straight from the tube for a more vampy effect. Wearing this instantly makes me feel pulled together. If you're going to describe this sort of lip color as a person, it's the very put together, go-getter, take on any challenge type of woman. It seems funny that I'm describing it that way but it really is true! Try it out! haha!

Black Cherry is considered a lustrous lipstick - just w/ that title alone it entails that it's creamy and non-drying. However, since it is creamy it may tend to slip and slide ( makeup term: bleed) which is why a lip pencil is recommended. It has worn about 3 hours on me w/o eating, but I imagine having to reapply again if you do so. The great thing about it is that when it does fade, it blends into a nice berry stain.

Do you own Black Cherry? Are there any other burgundy-wine lip colors I should be obsessing over? Suggestions are welcome! :)

Until Next Time! :)
