Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter in Pearl | Review & Swatches

Oh My God. Ladies. THIS IS MY JAM. This is my savior, my holy grail, my favorite product in the whole wide world. This is the one item I can rely on that makes me look like I took a quick dip into the Fountain of Youth. I am not kidding. THIS IS MY JAM.

If you type in "Pearl" in my search bar it will show you 14 different entries that mentioned this very fabulous product -- You can tell that I really do love this stuff.  To preface before anything, I have dry-normal skin and more often than not I need a boost to make my skin look less dull & tired.

Becca offers three different colors (from what I see on their personal website): Pearl (White Pearl), Moonstone (Pale Gold), & Opal (Golden Opal Pearl); Pearl recommended for very light - light skin tones, Moonstone for medium skin tones and Opal for darker skin tones. I think it really depends on what your preferences are, whether you like your highlighter subtle or very recognizable. By habit, I go crazy with highlighter and it's my most favorite part when applying my makeup. There really is something to say about a product that just livens up a face.

As you can see it's just a very pearlescent white liquid product that glows but it doesn't have any glitter or shimmer.. it's just gives a nice dewy sheen. Here are some of the ways that I use it:
  • Across the top of cheekbones, down center of nose, middle of forehead & upper lip
  • Mixed in with foundation to give it more of a dewy finish
  • Mixed in with moisturizer to give a glow to the face even without makeup
  • Put below a powder highlighter to give a more intense glowy look
The only downside is that it's quite an expensive product ($41), but I've had mine for over a year and it's maybe only halfway done.  Here are some pictures with me using it:

I hope you find this post useful and look out for this product the next time you're in Sephora! I hope you LOVE it as much as I do!

Have you tried this product? What is your favorite way to use it?

Until Next Time! :)
