ColourPop Super Shock Cheek in Quarters | Review & Swatches

Ever since Colourpop appeared into my makeup world,  I've been obsessed. Now that I'm on my 4-ish shipment, I wanted to review a fairly new product of theirs - ColourPop Super Shock Cheeks (blush) in Quarters.

The consistency of their blush (as well as their eyeshadows) are insane and hard to describe -mousse like texture that feels spongy when you touch it; bounces back when you take your finger off & applies like a powder. Apologies for already having my finger marks on it -- a brand new spanking blush embosses the quilt looking texture that you see on the sides of the product.

Quarters ($8, Satin Finish) leans peachy, red & coral to me and looks beautiful across many skin tones. It's the perfect shade for summer that perks up your cheeks when you've got a nice tan going on. I wore this shade over dinner and when I got home to take my makeup off ~5ish hours later, the blush was still hanging on tightly. Lighter skin tones can wear this blush too by being a little soft with application while darker skin tones can go a little bit heavier handed.

People might be a little stressed out how to apply this - mainly because the consistency of these products are something very rare and unheard of. From experience fingers work the best to get the best pigmentation but I'm more of a brush girl so I make sure to use a synthetic brush to apply. My favorite way to apply this is using the E.L.F. Small Stipple Brush (you can find this at target for $3), dabbing onto the product and blending it unto the cheeks. Flawless Finish.

Until Next Time!
