Valentine's Day Neutral Smokey Eye + 4 Lip Options | Makeup Play

I know it's supposed to be Editorial Thursday today but since Valentine's Day is coming up I figured a neutral look with different lip options would be a good way to go... Editorial Thursday will resume next week :)

The key to a smokey eye look that matches with multiple lip colors is to have it be neutral in tone as much as possible. Anything too warm or cool will vastly contrast with your lips if it has a different undertone.

MAC Paint Pot - Soft Ochre (primer)
Stila Kitten (Champagne) - Inner Lid, lower lash line
MAC Satin Taupe (Taupe) - Outer Lid, lower lash line
Undeniable (Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette) - Crease
LT Brown (Lorac Pro Palette 2) - Transition Color
Undressed (Lorac Unzipped Gold Palette) - Eyebrow Highlight
MAC Eye Pencil - Smolder (upper & lower lash line, eyeliner smudged out)
MAC Nylon - Inner Tear Duct
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
Red Cherry #43 Lashes

Here are four different lip options:

Neutral Pink: L'Oreal Fairest Nude + Buxom Lipgloss in Sophia

Pinky Brown: Estee Lauder Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Irresistible (drugstore dupe: Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle)

Berry: MAC Rebel (drugstore dupe: Wet N' Wild Sugar Plum Fairy)

Red: ColourPop Bichette - Same color as first picture (drugstore dupe: Wet N' Wild Stoplight Red)

If I were going out with my girls I'd choose the Red or Berry option but since I'm going out with the boyfie who's taking me out to Mastro's (my favorite steak place ever!) I'll be opting for the other 2 because i'll definitely be stuffing my face. Don't want to have to worry about my lip color :D! I hope some of these pictures inspire you for this weekend! Have a Happy Valentines Day!

Until Next Time!
